Made of brasss and abalone inlay, this is a truly fantastic piece-it measures 10 3/8" by 7 1/2". Stamped heche en Mexico, this item was made by a very skilled artist and my guess is that it was during the Egyptian revival of the 1970's. Please make an offer.

This item is not for sale. (unless I was made an offer i could not refuse) I just like to show it off . It an exceptional work of art. The back lifts off and hooks to the end of the tail, and seats firmly in a notch in the middle of the tail also. I assume it is a trinket holder or a candy dish or something of this type.
